One week from Sunday 13th to Saturday 19th of July. The workshop will take place approximately from 9:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

The workshop will be held in a grand mansion in a beautiful village of Salento, Puglia, near Lecce. Built in the early 1900s, the villa once hosted a tobacco factory on the ground floor, while the upper floor served as a noble residence until the 1970s. It features a swimming pool and a spacious workshop area. The exact location will be disclosed once the workshop is activated.

It's a 30-minute train ride from Lecce station, a 15-minute drive from Lecce city, 25 km to the Mediterranean coast, 1 hour by car from Brindisi airport, and 2 hours from Bari airport.

The nearest airport is Brindisi, and we recommend flying there. A shuttle bus connects the airport to Lecce city center, where you can catch a train to the town of the worksop. Trains run frequently between Lecce and the town, but we also offer a complimentary shuttle service. Let us know if you're interested!

The ticket covers training and tutoring (7 hours each day for 5 days, Monday to Friday), the accommodation costs for the regular and premium tickets, the breakfast and meal costs (excluding alcoholic beverages). Dietary restrictions will be asked after the workshop activation to accommodate all specific needs.

The brief will center on creative applications of emerging technologies, primarily artificial intelligence, but won't be limited to that. The briefs are thematic, allowing each participant to tackle them from their unique perspective, often transcending specific technologies. The brief will be revealed a few weeks before the workshop.

The workshop is designed to help you improve your skills and knowledge in the field of interaction design and creative coding. It's a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and meet like-minded people in a beautiful setting.

No prior skills or experience are necessary. Our briefs are designed so you can work at your own pace and skill level. We'll provide the tools and support needed to help you finish the tasks, and you'll collaborate in groups with complementary skillsets.

Breakfast and another meal will be provided. We will ask for dietary restrictions after the workshop activation to accommodate all specific needs.

Rooms will be allocated based on the number of participants and their preferences. We'll do our best to accommodate all requests.

You'll simply need a laptop with some software installed. We'll provide a list of tools needed after the workshop activation.

Places are limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

The workshop will be activated only if we reach the minimum number of participants by June 1st. If the workshop is canceled, you will receive a full refund. No transportation (flights, trains, cars) or accommodation bookings costs will be covered by oio. Participants are responsible to check the cancellation policy of external services in case of bookings executed before the activation date.

If you cancel before June 1st, you'll receive a 95% refund, with 5% retained by oio for administrative costs. Cancellations up to July 1st will be refunded at 50%, with the remaining 50% retained for administrative expenses. Cancellations made after July 1st at 23:59 will not be refunded. Alternatively, tickets are fully transferable, so you can resell or donate them. For more information on ticket transfers, see the next FAQ.

To transfer your ticket to another person, contact us at hello@oio.studio before July 7th at 23:59. After the transfer, the new ticket holder will assume full responsibility for the ticket and its conditions. The original ticket holder will no longer be eligible for a refund or any other benefits.
